Campaign pays off: Outdated Household Recycling Centre to be replaced

Poor access and outdated facilities at the Harts Farm Way Recycling Centre has put many people off using the facility
HCC councillor Ann Buckley received many complaints from Bedhampton and Leigh Park residents and has campaigned for improvements.
Funding has now been agreed and the proposed new £1.2m will now go forward for planning consent. Lib Dem activist and environmental campaigner Steve Marshall said "This will solve the problem in the road and will encourage more recycling."
