Lib Dem Pensions Minister Speaker at Age Concern AGM

Liberal Democrat Pensions Minister, Steve Webb MP, gave a keynote speech at the Hampshire Age Concern AGM in Winchester. Steve made a strong presentation and showed a sound knowledge of social policy. Many of the audience applauded the proposals for linking pension increases to earnings.

County Cllr. Ann Buckley, who met Lawrie McMenemy at the event said: "It was an impressive day, with exceptionally good presentations and lots of searching questions from members in the audience. It was good to see so many people from Havant Age Concern at the event."
