Lib Dems slam Tory leaflet blunder

A widely distributed Tory leaflet has been branded as misleading and completely wrong by leading Liberal Democrat councillor, Ann Buckley.
The leaflet, written by Havant MP, David Willetts and delivered to 20,000 local homes, claims the A&E Dept of St. Richard's Hospital in Chichester had been closed by the government. In fact the A&E is very much open for business and is likely to be so for the foreseeable future. Ann wants a full retraction and public apology so people know that the A&E is not closing.
"It's the least he can do. Thousands of people worked hard to save St. Richard's A&E from the axe and Mr. Willetts' leaflet is a slap in the face." she said.
