Oak Park Community Hospital Petition

Havant Liberal Democrat councillors presented a petition with over 1000 names to the Chairman of the PCT.
The PCT Board Meeting did not make a decision on the future of the Community Hospital but will look at this again at their next meeting. Existing facilities such as Oak Park Childrens' Centre and Havant Health Centre are being considered for outpatient services but this would leave the area without the in patient 45 beds including elderly mental health beds that are so much needed. There is huge disappointment locally at this last minute change of plans.
