Safety issues and water quality in Chichester Harbour

Councillor Buckley attended the annual Chichester Harbour Conservancy meeting the morning focused on safety in the harbour and complying with the Port Marine Safety Code.
One of the main points in the afternoon session was the problems with water quality in the harbour The capacity of the waste water works is inadequate thirty per cent of the time. The Environment Agency and Natural England are now going to object to any development of over 10 homes in the Chichester area.
