Ann Buckley elected to Havant Borough Council
A 9.7% swing to the Liberal Democrats swept Cllr Ann Buckley to victory as Liberal Democrat Councillor for Bedhampton. Tony Welch, the retiring Lib Dem Councillor for Bedhampton welcomed her election saying "Ann's decisive victory this evening shows that the people of Bedhampton are concerned about the policies of the Tories and the continuing erosion of quality of life in the area. Ann will ensure that their voices are heard both in the Borough and the County Councils".
Ann's election to the Borough Council is a result of the energy and care she has put into representing Bedhampton as a County Councillor - a role she has vowed to continue. Her record speaks for its self with her successes for Bedhampton residents on parking and traffic issues in the ward, her energetic help for residents with housing and council tax problems and her concerns over the future of Broadmarsh.
